When I first met Greg during his interview I was immediately taken with his flawless presentation of his work. There were gorgeous diagrams that clearly explained the project and team structure in a way that answered most questions before we had a chance to ask them. Impeccably thorough, and the deck was cleanly designed, of course ;) Greg is a systems thinker, lightning fast at designing any deliverable from interaction flows and diagrams to screens. He drives the team to think through all the details (the tough stuff, but where good design lives) and always delivers thoroughly thought out solutions. He brings a lot culturally to any team too, he's organized happy hour events for the team to get us out of the office and into fun spaces. He always has something witty to say, and a solid taste in music that he DJ'd for us on a couple of occasions. It's been a pleasure to work with Greg and all his future teammates are super lucky to have him on their team :)

Greg doesn't know how to give anything less than 120%. When you have Greg on your team, you either go big or go home. Greg's proactive nature and lightning speed guarantees things get done quickly without being asked and always to meticulous detail and only the highest standards.

Over the last year, Greg has not only demonstrated his amazing individual talents as a Principle UX Designer, but he has also become a truly valuable leader to our organization, taking on mentoring of junior designers, taking over leadership and direction of our Wearables projects, and always being solutions-oriented in an organization that is undergoing challenges and changes.

I first had the opportunity to work with Greg at Vitesse, where I was extremely impressed by his intelligence, his attention to detail, and his ability to sort through the maze of product requirements and produce solid, reliable applications under intense deadline pressure. When I was building a development team at Grey, I made a point of hiring Greg. He is exactly what we needed: a developer who has a strong eye for design, and who thinks his way through the user interface in extremely clear and logical terms.

One of the issues that consistently hinder software development teams is the tendency to launch into coding without sorting through the human and organizational issues that produced the (often conflicting) requirements. Greg always attacks these issues head-on, clearing away the confusion and inconsistencies in the design and development process. He is an asset at every stage of the project, from framing product requirements, through interaction and visual design, all the way through development and final delivery.
